Water Hockey is a sport that I imagined. While physically unbelievable, it does provide some interesting ideas, and contains sharks, therefore making it "wawesome" (weirdly awesome)

I meet Snoop!

In completely unrelated news, I met the legendary Calvin Cordozar Broadus jr, aka Snoop Dogg. Pretty down to earth guy, especially for a rap superstar. The jury is still out on whether or not that is Charlottesville mayor Dave Norris in the background.

Winning T shirt design

Recently I received an email with the attached image- the final proof for my Batesville T-shirt design. Unfortunately, I am unable to post the proof they sent as of yet, because it is in an unusual format I can't seem to convert, so I have instead posted the original design.
The shirt itself is sky blue in color, with the design taking up most of the front. The back is used for crediting the advertisers.

my most recent project had very few restrictions; I could create anything that had to do with the Charlottesville food scene. While originally I was planning on doing something photo-journalism related, I opted for a simple advertisement due to a lack of time.

Visual Puns

For this assignment, we were asked to create a visual pun through a compound word. We were also allowed to use oxymorons. I chose the following 4: Dr. Pepper, Leopard Seal, Horsefly and Chainsaw. I was happy with how they ended up, and felt like I got to try some new tools, although puppet warp wasn't as effective as i had originally hoped... this may just be something I need to get adjusted to.

Crazy Lion

Originally, I was trying to re-color the lion's mane by desaturating the image and adding color. When I wasn't happy with that result, I decided to use the history brush on the face, but leave the mane black and white. I later opted for some filters, and ended up with this as the finished product. I think it looks really vibrant, and I'm happy with it, especially since creating it was a complete accident.

Edited 15 Green Things

This is the same as my previous post, I just modified the levels of most of the layers to remove the lime green, and adjusted the positioning of several layers.

For this project, I was asked to take 15 green images, which weren't really compatible because of different subject matter and resolutions, and combine them into one piece.
